This release announces the panel's intent to hold another closed meeting Friday to complete its discussions before delivering the report to Governor Kaine next week. Expect to hear from the governor's office when the event will occur.

The Panel will hold a closed meeting Friday, August 24 (9 a.m.) at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business (Abbott Center, Room 260) in Charlottesville to consult with counsel and discuss matters and records which are required to be kept confidential as it prepares to complete and submit its report to the Governor of Virginia.

Public comment will not be received at this meeting.

As in past closed meetings, the chairman will call the panel order and then the panel will vote to go into closed session. At the end of the closed session, the meeting will be re-opened and then adjourned.
